Dr. Richard Ayah is the Director, Science and Technology Park, University of Nairobi where he leads in an innovation and incubation space where academics, innovators and the business community interact to create wealth for the country. He has keen interest in health policy, governance, health systems management and developing innovation infrastructure. He is a Lecturer, Health Policy and Health Systems Management at the School of Public Health, University of Nairobi and adjunct Associate Professor School of Public Health, Tropical Medicine and Rehabilitation Science, James Cook University. He serves in multiple advisory and administrative capacities on a number of Boards in both the private and public sector; and has published several academic papers and participated in numerous international conferences and workshops. He enjoys writing columns and feeding orchids in his spare time.
